  1. With the Internet tracking of many devices is possible. However, any smart thief that knows about the tracking the features of Dropbox may uninstall the app before usage.

If this happens then it becomes impossible to track the laptop.

Lets assume that the thief is ignorant of the tracking features of Dropbox then it becomes easy to track the device once he is logged online.

I have been using Dropbox for a while but never been aware of this tracking feature. Well, its good to learn new things everyday. Thanks for sharing Adesanmi!

    • Hi Sunday,

You are right about that, but hardly can a thief think in such direction. If however, immediate action should have been taken by the Laptop owner to outsmart the thief before the thief think otherwise! Thanks for stopping by bro!
