The best thing in life is not often free, and this is applicable in getting quality traffic to our blog. The best and most quality traffic bloggers needs are the traffic that increases our earning online and this can be seen as target traffic or visitors. The fact is not far fetch that getting free traffic from search engine is not a day job, and is not easy to accomplish even though the secret of targeting high ranked keyword may be understood, getting free traffic from search is not easy yet.

Outside our blog product that is unique, targeted traffic are needed to make more sales with a definite marketing strategies to meet the need of the researcher who may likely need to know more and peradventure click on our advert and/or buy your product and that is the main reason why free traffic from search engine is far preferable to any other source of online traffic.

All bloggers and internet marketers need free and quality traffic to make more money online and that is the more reason why traffic from search engine is more preferable meanwhile this does not dispute sales or traffic from email list that targeted some buyer always. If however free traffic is a most and most preferable to all sources of traffic, the steps below can be of help to drive immediate and last long free traffic to your blog.

1. Distribute your blog content: Promoting blog content has gone beyond using only social media as the source of traffic though it’s still the best, the old but long last traffic source still work. After creating your blog content (quality), distribute the article/post on site like ezinearticle, yudu, evernote and other site that support this method to leverages your blog traffic consistently. Although the processing may be time consuming because some of your blog post may need to be convert to PDF format before submission while some will have to undergo some screening to verify whether it’s free from copywriters policy but it work well and the traffic is last long.

2. Target search engine traffic: Talking about traffic that is targeted and increases earn, search engine is the best; the number one reason why targeting a certain keyword is to have a quality and free traffic from search engine. Getting reasonable traffic from search engine is not only it advantage but you get targeted visitors to your site or blog depending on your keyword. But the major problem with getting quality search engine traffic is that when targeting a very highly competitive keyword it may be difficult to rank high on search engine but going for a less competitive keyword, reasonable traffic can still be generated from search engine which is incredibly the best.

3. Have you tried Squidoo: This look like a question? Yes, it’s! Have you tried it? Many internet marketers and bloggers don’t see this site as one of the best way to generate huge traffic, all you need to do to generate huge traffic is to just start a lens on your own topic. Creating a reasonable lens will get your lens indexed by search engine on time and will bring about more traffic from search engine and this really work.

4. Try online community: Many called this web 2, and many marketers have found this really helpful. Many bloggers spend more time in online community than any other source because large numbers of people are targeted at once. Engaging in forum consistently will boost your blog traffic, getting involve in online community will help to identify peoples problem that you can provide solution to, either in your niche or related niche and this will render your online activities professional by solving peoples’ problem and this will definitely channelled some quality traffic to your site or blog through your signature.   The need to get noticed through involving in online comment is very important so that you can be easily noted, and your involvement in online activities will either make you an expert in your niche or amateur. Contribute responsibly to dominate your turf.

Conclusion: I believe all bloggers or internet marketers need quality and free traffic from search engine to succeed online.

    You explain the best way to get free traffic on your blog. Keyword targeting is best and effective to get real free traffic which doesn’t affect your blog quality because it is send by Google itself.

    Hey mate,

    Squidoo is not bad and so does HubPages. However, it is harder to get traffic from them nowadays since they got hit pretty hard by Google last year.

    You could build your brand there but to get traffic, it is challenging. Of course, if you get featured then everything is much easier.

    I definitely need to learn how to get more traffic. It is easy to write the content, but when it comes to driving traffic, this is something I am always trying to learn more about.

    I used to use Squidoo, but now it seems more difficult to create a lens and not get it locked. I haven’t created a lens in several months now.

    Getting a targeted traffic is a bit difficult and slow process. Also we have get more control over keywords and SEO. This will come by time. I have one question, Squido, what is this??

    Traffic is backbone for every business. Getting traffic from search engine is not a easy task. You have to do smart work as well as hard work.
    you mentioned good point but i want to add one more thing that Stumbleupon is also a good social bookmarking site, from where we can get huge traffic.

    There is one thing I believe about being addict to blogging or not which is ; it’s all about how we manage our time, I once read a post in ogbonge’s blog about how a contributor on the blog managed blogging with banking Job and this is a great lesson that learning how to do things right can be beneficiary at times.
