Time is all about what we do, but time poverty kills what we do and what we do control us without proper management of our time. So say an adage “Time and tides wait for nobody”. Sometimes ago, in one of the blogs I served as a guest author I published a post why blogging can be chosen as a full time job, where I discussed about 5 concrete reasons why blogging is better than a corporate job, and the readers responds where indeed impressive that indeed blogging is worth taking for a job instead of search for white collar job if the way of blogging was quit understood.
But, come to think of it; how many bloggers focus on blogging as a full time blogger or blogging as a full time job? Limited number of bloggers right? Yes! Except world top bloggers like John Chow, Matt Cutt, Neil (My favourite), and some other bloggers who could not secure a white collar job that pays well or those that were laid off in their respective place of work etc., many bloggers most especially the present and upcoming bloggers were students who were undergraduate or fresh graduate or a man who depend on someone to sign his/her check at the end of every month.
You as a blogger may somehow wondered how they were able to managed blogging with studying activities and offline job which we all known to be a very hectic. (Sometimes I hates to attend lecture when I was an undergraduate; funny? No! These happen to almost all students at times even the genius type). This was what brought about time poverty being the post of the day, during the cause of this discussion; we shall discuss some relevant tricks on how to manage our time why combining blogging with offline business or our educational life.
Below are some important factors that can be used to kill blogging time poverty.
1. Yourself: Personally, time management as a blogger begins with you, your thinking via what is important to you determines how you manage your time as a blogger. Blogging is a very stressful online business for a newbie webmaster who want to make both ends meet overnight most especially how to drive quality traffic from search engine to his/her blog. Yourself as an element of time requires you to have a personal schedule scheme of time on how you want to run your blogging activities. For instance, you leave for class 8:00 am and returned home late in the evening, and you will have to read despite the fact that you are extremely tired, definitely you need to make things work out by targeting the weekend for effective writing of your blog post and schedule your blog post based on your blogging techniques or strategy for the week ahead.
2. Try this: As a part time blogger, combining responds to you blog comment, e-mail request, social media conversation from organic friend on social media may be so stressful many time but you can try this with your blog comment and responding to e-mail list. I once read a comment on Mrs Adrienne smith, that for almost a week she was unable to responds to her blog comment because she lost a cordial friend to the world beyond, and when she decided to responded to those comments she make it a weekend and that is a great strategy from my end. Responding to blogging comment twice or three times a week can really work for you as a part time blogger so as not lose much concentration on other aspect of your life which is your primary assignment either academic or offline business.
3. Set a target: Encouraging myself about setting goal is one of the best thing ever happening to me and this I learn from a great writer called “BRIAN TRACY”, Publishing tens and hundreds of post part week may not really help your blogging ministry as a part time blogger rather it will only turn your blog to junks, full of scrap contents, valueless, and virtue-less; however as a part time blogger that really want to make things work out partfectly; decide on the number of post to be published part week, two or three and make sure it’s done that way, and this will give you a breeding space to deal with some other activities outside blogging either studying, mingling with your friends, etc.
4. Hard time pushes out soft-time: Been a part time blogger means blogging is just a substitute, and time is money. Yet, hard time such as going to office, school, etc. still pushes out some soft-time for you to think about your blog. One or two hour can be enough daily to draft out your next blog post and that is why blogging on what we understand, and can write very much about is very important, and thinking about this make every minute of your blogging activities and life counts.
Conclusion: Some fact you need to understand about time; time is perishable, irreplaceable, and can as well not

Hi Susan,
Proper management of our time is what is only required of us as a part time blogger. Thanks for your comment buddy and do have a lovely week ahead.
You have said it all. It is how well we manage our time that differentiate the successful bloggers from others.
Hi Sam,
Thanks for your comment, and do have a lovely week ahead.
Hi Adesanmi,
I think that it’s not just blogging but you have to definitely manage your time in order to accomplish most things. I can’t even imagine being a part-time blogger and having to respond to as many comments as I get plus everything else I have to do besides my blog.
You are right, when I was grieving for the loss of my best friend I was useless being online. I couldn’t do anything justice so I just had to take a step back and go through the process of grieving for my friend. I also didn’t want to let my commenters down who had taken the time to pay their respects as well. That meant so much to me so you’re right, find the time and just make it happen.
Great tips for doing that and I know there is a lot involved and so many people would love to use the excuse that they don’t have enough time. We all have the same amount of hours in the day so if you want something bad enough you’ll schedule the time.
Thanks for this share and I appreciate you using me as an example.
