Am going to quit because I cannot pay the price again

Blogging world is growing every day, thousands of blogs are been launched daily, uncounted number of people are falling for blogging every day and they claimed to be pro-blogger not knowing that being a pro-blogger is more than what you can just claim with the word of your mouth and you don’t need to be a soothsayer in order to arbitrate what you are.

Quitt Am going to quit because I cannot pay the price again

Action speak louder than voice

The saying still remain intact that thedoes not prone to critics according to Emmanuel Cudjole  and with his points, if you are indeed a poor blogger or rich blogger you can from there become an arbitrator of yourself.

Do not panic because am not going to quit neither am I going to stop blogging but the usual saying of many blogger most especially those that join from with the view of making a living with blogging income within a limited number of month are those that do echoed the world “am going to quit because I can’t pay the price again”.

The price they can’t pay is not really the money they pay for their hosting service, domain name and even the internet subscription but…, what do you think?

Is blogging like a bird you just have to chase around? I think you should be able to remember those days when we usually sang a song about a lovely bird.

Twinkle, twinkle little start

How I wonder what you are

Up above the wall so high

Like a diamond in the sky,

Without much ado, many quit because of the following reasons

Sleepless Night: Yes, I mean sleepless night! If you are aspiring to succeed in the ever growing blogging world definitely sleeping will be one of your greatest enemies. It’s through that normal human being must sleep for six hours daily at least, but bloggers don’t spend up to that just for the fact that their dream/goal must be achieved / fulfilled.

Blogging goal is not all about making money! If you argue that, what about gaining traffic (both search and refer traffic), exposure from blog comment and guest posting and this will amount to sleepless night most especially if you are a part time blogger.

Privacy: Gosh! You said? You aren’t going to succeed in blogging world if you hate privacy. If you are the type that flex around and love hanging out with friends, definitely, you can’t be regarded as a committed blogger, but copied – blogger. Observing blogging quite time is a must most especially during research. During the cause of your privacy, chances are that for you to make your research, read other blogs in and outside your niche, leave comment on other blogs etc.

Relationship: The only way to start boosting your blog moral is subjected to building quality relationship. Building quality relationship with order bloggers most especially in your niche is the first step to think about when starting a blog, and blog comment is the number one source of your refer traffic as this will reflect on your social network. Organic traffic is vital and social network traffic is compulsory in the sense that, if you try to outsmart search engine in terms of backlink and probably buying traffic, your blog will be caught by search engine algorithm like penguin 2.1 and the latest Google hummingbird which may end up sending your blog traffic to search engine junk folder, however, quality relationship with other bloggers in and outside niche can make your blog traffic go viral without search traffic, but nonetheless, search traffic convert more than refer traffic in some senses.

Making money online: The number one reason why we blog is to generate online income from what we know we can do better most especially from AdSense but what happen when your application is been rejected always for unknown reason or better still when you read through AdSense message and you were told that you blog does not comply with their policy, do you think this can be true? Anyway, that is just a digression!

Disappointed right? It’s never a bad omen/ordeal not to have your AdSense account set-up during first application, instantly the next thing that will strike your mind will be trying to quitting because of that, and you will be tagged a failure but keeping your head-straight with fate, endurance, and perseverance might earn you something better in future like jumping into affiliated marketing, sponsor post, product review etc. but if you can’t pay the price of perseverance, you might have summed up the courage to call it a day for blogging because of the obvious difficulties you encountered while trying to break the blogging shell..

Blogging is not a getting rich quick scheme but a source of reasonable income when coupled with passion, endurance consistence and perseverance.

Please pardon me to quote those few words of yours, ‘Blogging is not a getting rich quick scheme but a source of reasonable income when coupled with passion, endurance consistence and perseverance’.

This sums up all that the post is all about and thanks for tagging me in there.

    Hi Adesanmi,
I agree with your take on the reasons many “bloggers” quit. The prospect of making money from blogging initially often clouds the judgement of putting into perspective what are the needed actions to take. Blogging to make a living is an attractive prospect with simple rules. But these rules are tasking and never easy.

It is better to have a planned schedule. So sleepless nights will be no more. And we can’t blame them if they chose to finish their job before sleeping. But it is important to mind your health. You can’t do a work well if you aren’t in shape and in a good frame of mind. It will push you to stop or quit.
