Am the type that is so much curious about my blog backlinks because I too want to make a remarkable name in blog-o-sphere, want to be influential, want to be reckoned with as a pro-blogger and as well want to be one of the best bloggers in blog-o-sphere following the proper way. Just this week I revealed the secret of my blog backlinks and the responds were amazing with the kind of comment I received from successful bloggers, which is to tell all bloggers how important it’s to have backlink from a reputable source.
There is no doubt about it that quality backlink and domain authority (DA) are some hidden treasure behind a successful blog PageRank, and I also dreamt to be a successful blogger who will make Google PageRank of 4 in my blog first update (Adedotun you are funny), quite disappointing though that there is no update yet but this is also a blessing for me because I have enough time to build my blog backlink.
I did series of research on how to build a successful blog and backlinks, and I came to realized that guest blogging, and blog comment are better ways which most bloggers believed in, but I came to think of it,that how would that be; blogging + guest blogging + blogging commenting = hectic blogging, and with all these in place,the chance of becoming an aggressive blogger will be limited, yet I want to drop my AlexaRank to a reasonable thousand, and many more things to carried out before Google PageRank is out which was supposed to have been updated some months ago but all to no avail.
It was just like a dream when I checked my blog backlink and I discovered that adetechblog is having a backlink from YAHOO….. Wooooow!!! I exclaimed,but could not discovered what brought about this on time,then I want to know more about it so that I will be able to defend myself if any blogger ask me how it goes and decided to find out the gimmick that bring about the fortune of backlink from Yahoo.
HOW I GET BACKLINK FROM YAHOO
The source of the backlinks adetechblog got from Yahoo was as a result of :
ANSWERING QUESTION ON YAHOO: Quite huge number of bloggers find this difficult even myself when first I started, going to yahoo page and was like a hell to me then because I value my time and I think it was a waste of time, but when I saw the result about two month after, I was able to see to the reason why answering question correctly on Yahoo page can bring quality backlinks and at the same time quality traffic.
Answering questions correctly on yahoo will not only bring about backlink but will tell more about your potential knowledge about the question and also prompt you to research on questions you don’t seem to know and you intend providing solution to. Providing the most relevant answer to any question that earn the highest votes in your blog niche will bring about backlink and traffic from yahoo answer.
Conclusion: All bloggers understand that blog backlink is very important, and if we can just start guest blogging and leaving comment always, why not trying yahoo answer to bring backlink and traffic to your blog as well.

A good post. You have shown very well how to get backlink from a trusted source but you have to be in 2 level to get backlink from yahoo answer.

It’s great to hear that you have started receiving backlinks and traffic from Yahoo! Answers. Although it doesn’t have any SEO benefits, it helps to boost the traffic. BTW, Which level you are on in Yahoo! Answers? Because my links are posted as text and not as links.

I’m indeed happy to have your comment on this post, yes, Yahoo backlinks may not really be of benefits in terms of SEO but the traffic is a better chance as well. Before you can start receiving traffic/backlinks from Yahoo answer I think you must have been in level 2.

I’m finding it really difficult dealing with yahoo answers. Thanks a lot for bringing this thing up. I’m more or less like an anti yahoo.
I enjoy gmail a lot but will obviously consider re-activating my yahoo account for the sake of yahoo answers and of course, for backlinks as well! Hahaha!

Ade, you sure are very correct. When I did a blog post on how to drive traffic to a blog, I did mention that answering at least 5 questions on Yahoo Answers would sure pay in the long run! Glad that someone sees it the same way I do. Great post!

How I wish Google Update is out now so as to know my fate and stand in blog-o-sphere but talking about AdSense, getting AdSense approval is just by GRACE and nobody is too sure of him/her-selves when he/she applied, anyway still need to put something in place before but hopefully to apply soon. Thanks buddy for this great post. I actually tried answering a question on yahoo answers. Guess what !! Yahoo sent me a message that my answer has been voted as the best answer and more credit added. About traffic? That answer alone got exceedingly great traffic to a post i don’t even considered as important. About Google pagerank. I read some where (though not sure of the site now) that pagerank update as been scrapped but non the less we still got to keep working hard. Thumps up !!!

Nice tip, I also tweaked one, I noticed that a blogspot (blogger) profile has alexa 1, can’t really remember, it’s either 1, 2 or 3.
This made me rush to one of my old blogger profile to add viralwriter as one of the blogs I follow. I’m not getting a single traffic from it, all I want is just the backlink
Well, I did it of recent and I can’t wait till it shows up in my alexa ranking. Thanks for mentioning yahoo answers, I’ll definitely try that out, I’m also lagging behind when it comes to blog commenting except it’s on a guest post and according to alexa, even if you drop 1000 comments on a single blog, the backlink you’ll gain from the blog is just 1 but according to google PR, you’ve gotten tons of pr juice especially if it’s dofollow.
I checked your alexa rank below and oh boy! You’re really going to far, lol! I’m still sitting at 100+ haha

That is another trick about backlink buddy, adding your up and doing blog to your old blog as the one you followed, the algorithm of Alexa and PageRank are quite different when it comes to issue of calculating their backlinks I think bro. Lol sitting behind 100+ in alexa rank doesn’t count bro but you have started monetizing your blog buddy which am aspiring to do right from now by Gods’grace.

Recently, I noticed that a blog of mine has been getting visits from Yahoo Answers. I was intrigued and decided to check that link. Surprisingly, I found that some Yahoo user had used my blog post as an answer to a question! He pasted the link on his answer and Yahoo approved it!
That’s when I realized that Y! Answers can be exploited as a source of traffic. I don’t know whether it gives an SEO advantage or not, but the traffic ‘gain’ is assured.

Hey there, nice article. Though the backlinks which you get from yahoo are nofollow and they do not affect search engine rankings but they work really nicely and give you other benefits. Thanks for sharing this article
