pinterest 6 reasons why Pinterest is for marketers All internet marketers are found wanting of being addicted to social media for business marketing and interaction, most started using it earlier enough why some believed in the power of social media in boosting their marketing income not quit long, however, if you have been part of marketers that uses Facebook then Pinterest should also be a wonderful friend. There are countless numbers of boards on Pinterest but can you share with me how you are going to convinced Pinterest user to click and join your own board? Nonetheless, I don’t need to stress you further since it’s an interacting post, so you can endeavour to share the techniques you do use on Pinterest to getting more followers on your board. Below are my awesome reasons why marketing on Pinterest is compulsory.

1. Consumer behaviour often shift base on what they discover from search to discovery: Finding solution to any question or problem either simple or difficult, research is a most for a better answer. And finding the right answer to your question depends on your research and this is one of the greatest powers of Pinterest. When many have problem this day, Google is the first place to seek for people’s opinion online, probably followed by Yahoo answer and other sites like Amazon, Ebay etcetera. What am trying to communicate here is, assuming I want to buy a product, may be Christmas gift and I decided to check on Pinterest via image on the kind of gift I have at the back of my mind, I may end up on online shopping site from Pinterest and that is in fact an awesome traffic source

2. Are you an expert? : Even if you are a learner, you can still re-brand your product to bring out the expert in you. If at all  your effort does not work up to your expectation on Pinterest because of competition, building your expertize in a specific area, region etcetera can re-brand your product

3.  Building Interaction is compulsory : The main problem of any product or brand is ability to provide answer to the questions that might be asked thereafter after publishing the brand, most especially on social network and email. What makes me to love Pinterst the more is that its comment does not necessarily prone to replying unlike other social media, publishing your image is at your own disposal and what outcome either positive or negative, it’s at your own detriment.

4. Connect with you audience: Pinterest is a visual network that attracts people of different calibre… Some are creative with their image contents why some are not with an appealing word. Do you remember how internet marketers do engage their audience? I believe it’s not through words alone but video also. If a word can convey a thousand meaning, definitely video will convey five thousands meaning. The image you pin on Pinterest is to building a community around your image to direct audience to your website/product for more sales.

5.  Create your content with boldness: Pinterest does not only operate on single segment as it allow another segment of online market to come on board and the segment can be refer to as the “lurker” (Marketer that are shy in creating their own brand like blog, contribute to any article they come across). You don’t need to be original before you can make use of Pinterest since its online uploading image that will attract audience to your product and all you need is to make your product more unique.

6. Retweet is like re-pinning: This work the same way twitter works. When you tweet followers status or update, chances are that for you to get your own tweet re-tweeted by your follower as well and so also is Pinterest. Afford to pinning others image to have your re-pinned again for quality traffic with just a click.

In conclusion, one of the best reasons why you need to be convinced about Pinterest is that it can outsource Facebook traffic when rightly used.

    Hey Adesanmi,

Thanks for writing. Seriously, I don’t use Pinterest as the ROI is very less. However, this is something very worth the time investing (yes, I know I am stupid haha).

I might consider this once I have more time. Let’s see how it goes.

    Appreciate the write!
