Don’t do it again or else

Don't do it again, if you want to make money

Don’t do it again, if you want to make money

Do you really want to make money from your blog and increase your blog traffic at the same time? If really you have these two point in your mind then you need to stop doing it today and don’t try it again. I promise you that if you don’t caution yourself from doing it you may not be a beneficiary from online greatest advertiser (Google AdSense) as they frowned eye on these.
And almost all bloggers and internet marketers believed that Google AdSense is the best way to monetize their blogs despite the that fact that there are many AdSense alternatives and most internet marketers have their own products to sale online; and that shows that other monetizing method can only be alternative and not a competitor

Just earlier last month, I read about red letter to Google AdSense and what I drew from that article was that; AdSense is the king and the best way to monetize blog and that is the more reason why many bloggers are been rejected always and they will still reject upcoming bloggers both the newbies and pre-blogger if they don’t stop doing in it.

What are the things that will stop you from monetizing your blog with Google AdSense and getting quality traffic? Can you just guess it? Yes / No? Okay, let consider what bloggers should stop doing it if they really want to make some cent from their blogs.

1. Don’t copy content: Every blogger is expected to be creative in one way or other, and then if this is true, can someone just tell me why an aspiring successful blogger will have to copy other bloggers content? Sometime last month before this post, a fellow blogger asked this question that why must we copy others hard work without any linked back (reward) to the original source of the content and I began to ponder that; was it because they don’t have much time to think about what to write or they just don’t like the act of writing?

But I concluded that since it is not compulsory to publish tens/ hundreds of articles per week, then why must we bloggers copy others job without any credit for blogging sake. Nah, it doesn’t worth it, learn from a reputable bloggers before jumping into blogging community so as to avoid copying content and to be free from plagiarism and copyscape if really you want to monetize your blog with the best method. (Do note that I’m not monetizing my blog yet so am not free from these point).

2. Comment Spammer:

Don't it again, if you want to make money online

Don’t it again, if you want to make money online

This is very common amongst most of us bloggers, we love to leave a comment like a newbie. First impression last longer, after reading an article worth of 400 – 750 words, all you could say about it is “Good post”, Nice post, Nice job, keep it up, and all the like, in fact if all other blogger doesn’t observed this, I think I did.

As an average blogger, you should at least leave two to three lines on an article worth of 400-700 words if fully understood. Leaving as spamming comment for the sake of building quality backlink will not encourage other bloggers to visit your blog but leaving a reasonable and encouraged comment that almost summarize the whole article we let other sees you as a professional blogger and they will definitely visit your blog from the comment you left in any blog you visited to see what you have to offer and this will help you blog in blog-o-sphere to generate more impression in your blog.

3. Don’t exercise inferiority

Don't do it again... if you want to make money online

Don’t do it again… if you want to make money online

This is one of the major attribute of most beginners/newbies, inferiority complex will kill your ego and render your blogging activities valueless, of no- virtue, irrelevant, and it will definitely contribute nuisance to the blog-o-sphere.

Nobody is an Island of knowledge though: if your writing skill is poor, and want to really make blogging your hobby either as part-time or full time blogger, cultivate the habit of reading to blending your writing skills and read pro-bloggers blog to learn how to write like a professional.

Thinking of what people or readers will say about your blog writing skill will improve your writing skills because you won’t like to fall victim of bad comment.Read books from great authors, and learn how to be yourself in the blogging community

  1. Your writing style is superb and deals with reality. All the young bloggers want adsense for monetization purpose and you clearly specified in this post what to do. I am also a newbie and and find your post very helpful. Trying to become like yours.

  2. I like the subject line and i agree totally with your points except for that of content scraping. You must not have to have your own unique contents to make money ,that is true especially for those who care about making money and not care about their readers.I know of a blog who specialises in scraping other blogs content and ranks well above the original owner of such content ,an adsense publisher who makes hell of cash from the blog.
But this is not to say am encouraging that anyway

    • Hi Ebima,

Many did it but they often face the consequences bro, an adage says even though, it may take a long time; the stammer will say father at the end. Many bloggers files copywrite case against such blogger and if care is not taking they may loose their long term effort such as; stopping Google search engine from indexing their site/blog and this can as well lead to the termination of their Google AdSense if they one already. Thanks for your contribution bro!

  3. Hey Ade, I’ll add a few: never blog about cheats and hacks and always make sure your post is at least 300 words long. Every other thing you said is on point and should never be neglected if Adsense is the aim. Great post, Ade.

  4. I have never used Ad Words for my blog site. I have used it for my main site which is where I sell promotional products. I used Ad Words years ago to the tune of $145,000.00 a year. I was not seeing a return on my investment. The only who was getting Rich was Google. You are looking for Ad words to bring in legitimate people, but you will get clicks from people who just want to see what you wrote, copy or come up with an idea. Just my opinion.

  5. Hi Adesanmi,
After reading your this, I become very happy that I am not doing all these three things so I going on good way. Copying content is worst mistake because in this way people know you as a spammer and you are also wasting your time too. Today, there is not benefit you can get from Google.

  6. Hey Adesanmi,

I totally agree with you that most people do want to get started with Adsense. I know when I got started online I got started with Adsense. In my opinion it was one of the easiest ways to make an income.

However, now today, I am not a big fan of Adsense. Yes I still make some money from it. I choose not to use it on my blog. (just a personal choice)

I think there are much better ways to monetize a site than using adsense.

    • Hi Susan,

You are right that Google AdSense is one of the easiest way to make money with our blog online and that is the more reason why many newbie webmasters blog ( to monetize their with AdSense), although I am not monetizing my blog yet but hopefully one of this day when I am fully satisfied and see that my set goal is almost accomplished I will definitely monetize it with either AdSense or some other means. Thanks mate!

  7. Hi Adesanmi,

The inferiority complex note is dead on. New bloggers undervalue what they can bring to the table, Google Adsense wise, creating wise and connecting wise. You are valuable. Even as a newbie. Learn. Promote. Connect. Share. Prosper.

    Thanks for sharing!

  8. Hii Adesanmi

I am new to blogging and just started Blogging with my friend. It need some hard work and dedication for success. There is a way for everything. While it comes to monetizing well I think If you have traffic you can earn form anything. Google Adsense won’t make any difference.
Thank you for the update :) Happy Blogging :)
    Have a great week :)

    • Hi Shristhi,

You are right that Google AdSense won’t make any differences when there is quality traffic, atleast direct advert can at that time take the place of Google AdSense.

  9. Nice and comprehensive writeup,,I love yóur style of writing,,you are really good in this and I will always come back here for more.

  10. Hi, Adesanmi,
I love the starting of the post. :)
As a blogger, I love Adsense too, because it is a leader as you said.
Now come to the three points that you have mentioned.
Adsense always ignore you if you have copied contents on your blog. It has maximum chances of rejection if you are a copy cat.
Many blogger has a habit to write a small comments or commenting for leaving a back links. It is totally irritating. :(
If any one has poor writing skill , can improve it by visiting pro-bloggers.
Thank you for sharing this post. :)
    Have nice week ahead. :)
