The main purpose of blogging goes beyond sharing of ideas and catching fun with friends and readers, Yes!, hope you agreed with me? Blogging with income, no matter how small it is, it’s not stressful but if reverse is the case, you consider it stressful.

Generally, blog is a journer that is made available on the web and the act of publishing or updating is callled blogging and anyone who exhibit the act of blogging is call a blogger.

And by now, after reading couples of books that talks about how to make money from blog, you may want to venture into it OR you are a

blogger already, but find it difficult to break the chain  of blogging, the ideas am about to share with you, will serve as an eye opener to you on the first thing to do before starting a blog or better still where and how to start a blog. The only first and uncompromising step to take before blogging is:

                                      PURSUE A QUALIFIED MENTOR (MENTORSHIP)

Who is a mentor? Mentors are greatness unlocker which work powerfully more than a teacher. A mentor doesn’t necessarily mean a cheerful leader but a good mentor is a coach whose work is not merely to correct and confirm what you are doing and how you are doing it but the main role of a mentor is to correct and prevent you from making a mistake.

Do take note of the fact that, a mentor and a teacher are two different personnel, so don’t be confused: below are some obvious differences between a mentor and a teacher.

i. Teachers love information while mentors love protege
ii. Teachers love and enjoy education while mentors love and enjoy impartation.
iii. Teachers don’t study to sow but to know while mentors study to sow.

1. A good mentor will widen your horizon in everyday activities and most especially in the aspect where s/he mentored you.

2. Different kinds of mentor exist: Mentor can be in any form, some people are mentored via a tape, books (by reading a motivational books), and luring a sound relationship with a professional blogger while some people are mentored through audio visual means and all the like.

However, there can always be a primary mentor who will remain with you throughout your life, be it your father, brother, friend, pastor etc. but in blogosphere, a mentor must alway be PRO who really knows more than you do.

NOTE: To win the heart of your mentor, you must learn how to impress your mentor than receiving from him and your mentor will celebrate your discovering rather than sitting and absorbing his/her own discovering.

3. Respect and protect the access your mentor permits you: Being a mentor to you doesn’t mean he/she must do everything for you, so, it is more wiser to face some battlers alone since you have access to to it and get your mentor involve early enough or when it seems confuse to ease your mentor the more.

4. Treasure private discussion with your mentor: Yes!, everything in life is an opportunity, treasuring your discussion with your mentor means YOU SHOULD MAKE EVERY DISCUSSION COUNT (one good advice is better than an advices), let your conversation with your mentor bring about information and intimacy to what you are talking about at that time.

HINT: After understanding mmentorship, the next thing is to PURSUE A QUALIFIED MENTOR(S) who is ready to correct and prevent you from making a mistake in your PURSUIT in blogosphere. No matter how perfect you are, someone is more perfect than you do, meanwhile nobody is perfect but all mentors do work toward perfection. Choose a good mentor in your blogging pursuit for better blogging.
